This community-driven site is, compared to the several subwikis, NOT geared towards any specific embedded NAS device or vendor. The plan is to use this wiki as a place for gathering general hacking info for linux based NAS devices so it can be reused more easily.

If you want to submit information for a specific device then do this at the adequate subwiki. All vendor-based wikis are linked in the "nas-central-links"-box on the left.

Please help collecting information and enhancing the wiki. In case you never edited a wiki before take a look at the cheatsheet and the User's guide.

Currently anonymous edits are allowed, but as this might change because of spam please register at the forum. You can login here with your forum user/pass then.

We also have a blog now which always tries to cover the most important news that affect the NAS hacking scene.
